Position Purpose:

*DISTRICT TITLE: Account Representative IV

The Supervising Energy Account Advisor - Commercial Programs is a high impact position responsible for achieving program goals within an assigned commercial account industry segment. This is a working supervisor position charged with supervising a team of specialists who perform account management and energy auditing and analysis duties, as well as delivering exceptional service to our commercial key account customers.



Salary Range: 92,532.00 - 115,536.00

Essential Functions:

You will be responsible for:

Coordinating and overseeing efforts and activities related to providing both account management and technical energy solutions for District commercial customers within assigned industry segments.

Supervising and developing a high performance work team of specialists who perform both energy specialist and account management duties. Assigning work, monitoring work performance, providing performance feedback, and taking corrective action as required. Writing performance appraisals and providing guidance, counsel, and mentoring to assigned employees.

Meeting energy and sales goals for assigned industry segments.

Acting as a primary point of contact for commercial key account customers and expanding our engagement with our customer base to best understand our customers’ needs to provide exceptional customer service delivery.

Acting as a program manager/supervising team leader to coordinate District activities and services in the areas of rates, energy services, customer services and billing, energy operations, and Distribution Services for assigned commercial key account customers.


Minimum Qualifications:

The following are the minimum qualifications that you will need:

Experience:
   Typically 7 or more years of increasingly responsible work experience in commercial account management. Will also have experience supervising and developing employees, and will have sufficient experience in energy auditing and analysis to review the work of others.

Knowledge of:
Techniques and practices related to supervision, building and managing a high performance work team, customer account management, project management, energy auditing and analysis, and energy efficiency concepts and practices.

   Skill to:
   Develop a high performing work team and provide effective supervision of assigned work group. Review the work of others including energy auditing and analysis work. Influence key commercial decision makers. Provide high-impact public presentations.

   Education:
A high school diploma or equivalent.



Licenses/Certifications:

A current class C driver’s license is required.



Desirable Qualifications:

B.S. degree in Business Administration or Engineering from an accredited college or university is highly desirable. A Certified Energy Manager (CEM) designation is also highly desirable.
