Account Manager - Energy Efficiency | ICF International | Baltimore, MD

ICF International is adding staff to its energy efficiency team in the
Mid-Atlantic Region to support a wide range of energy efficiency
programs. Our clients include utilities, recognizable Fortune 500 global
corporations, as well as a variety of industry, and Government
organizations. We seek established Account Managers to take a
significant role in the implementation of energy efficiency programs
that will deliver and expand our offerings in the Mid-Atlantic.

What you'll do? You should have demonstrated experience in at least two
the following areas:
- Working in support of various utility sponsored
programs that encourage energy-efficiency in residential, commercial,
and industrial markets.
- Working in the residential new construction
industry in purchasing, marketing or project management.
- Ideal
candidates will have a strong interest in energy or resource efficiency
and an understanding of utility markets.
- Recruiting program
participants, account management, developing and implementing sales
strategies, preparing and delivering persuasive presentations,
relationship building activities.
What job skills should you have?
You should have the unique combination
of interpersonal and analytical skill that will make you a critical
member of our team from the day you arrive. Specifically, you should be
able to demonstrate the following: A minimum of a Bachelor's degree and
3 - 5 years of experience managing successful energy efficiency
programs, with specific expertise in residential energy issues.
- Outstanding analytical, writing, and communication skills and excellent
interpersonal and self-motivation skills are required.
- Strong
familiarity with the residential new construction market, residential
building science and with energy efficient and renewable technologies.
- Ability to prioritize and multi-task, and work under strict deadlines.
- Tracking state/local and national energy policies.
- Providing partners
with technical and marketing assistance.

What additional skills would we like to see?
- Familiarity with demand
side management (DSM) program planning and evaluation
- Utility
experience and understanding of DSM program implementation
- Experience
with ENERGY STAR, LEED, and other energy efficient and green building
program platforms
